On day three of your Egypt Christmas holiday, enjoy breakfast and check out from your hotel. You'll then be transferred to Cairo Airport for a flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, meet your private Egyptologist guide and begin exploring Aswan’s remarkable monuments, starting with: Unfinished Obelisk The Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan, abandoned due to a crack, was intended to be the largest ever at 42 meters and over 1,000 tons. Lunch Time Have your lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan, then visit: Philae Temple Philae Temple, dedicated to Isis, was built during the Ptolemaic and Roman eras. Famous for its elegant reliefs, it was relocated to Agilkia Island to protect it from flooding. It stands today as a symbol of ancient faith and preservation.
